Owner Revital Nutrition and Wellness
Suzanne is the owner of Revital Nutrition and Wellness, a private nutrition practice and wellness consulting group based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her formal education includes a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Human Biology from Brown University and a Masters of Science Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Utah.
As a registered dietitian nutritionist, Suzanne has more than 10 years experience in developing and delivering nutrition and healthy lifestyle programs that have helped large numbers of individuals better manage their health and improve their well-being. She is also an experienced speaker and workshop facilitator and enjoys working with groups around nutrition and wellness topics.
Most recently her professional experience in health behavior change and chronic disease prevention and management has evolved to inform her current focus on mindfulness-based strategies for creating a lasting healthier lifestyle that is sustainable and enjoyable.
In her personal time, Suzanne loves to explore farmer’s markets, cooking and eating whole foods, trail running, yoga, and being in nature (especially the mountains) as ways to cultivate mindfulness and balance in life. She is also working to complete her yoga teacher certification to further her ability to serve others with mind-body nutrition and wellness.
Suzanne is currently a member of the national and Utah affiliation of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as the Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutritionists and Weight Management Dietetic Practice Groups.

Mindfulness is a way of approaching our life in an open and flexible way. It is commonly defined as paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally (mindfulness link) and has as gotten a lot of “buzz” lately. This is for good reason. There’s a growing amount of research that supports the physical and mental health benefits of mindfulness (research link).
Being “mindful”, rather than “mindless”, can be easier said than done especially in today’s culture of distractions and non-stop busy-ness. However, paying attention and truly savoring each aspect of our daily experience including what and how we eat, when and where we move our bodies, and how we spend our time and energy can help us feel more satisfied and nourished. This process includes learning to let inner wisdom be the guide while incorporating external knowledge in a meaningful way to find more balance and live healthier
